Dear Friends,
We would like to invite you to join us in saying farewell to Ben on Tuesday, 23rd of August 2022 at 1pm at Deerton Natural Burial Ground

The humanist ceremony will be led by Roderick Orr-Ewing, to whom we are so very thankful. We also need your help to celebrate Ben's amazing life! If you wish, please come prepared to share a few memories (in about 3 mins) and happy stories from your times with Ben or even perhaps play a piece of music, as music was central to Ben's life.
Flowers: you may choose to bring flower petals to scatter over the coffin and if possible, some living pots of English lavender or English thyme to plant over the grave and create a mini field of French-inspired scent, which Ben and Katia so much loved.
Refreshments: afterwards we will be holding a fizz picnic in the beautiful surroundings near the burial ground. Please feel free to bring picnic blankets or chairs. If you would like to contribute (although please do not feel obliged), you may choose to bring a simple dish/ cheese Ben and you enjoyed together.
