so sad that Ben, so young, has left us. I knew him when he was in the LSO and freelancing in London and in HK. Lovely erudite man and always so friendly. Sadly I cannot make the funeral which would involve 5 hours car journey but I shall be thinking of him at 1 o'clock on Tuesday.
